ANDERSON, Ind. — Anderson police arrested two women this week and charged them with prostitution after investigating a local massage parlor.
Detectives with the Anderson Police Department executed a search warrant Monday afternoon in the 1900 block of E. 53rd Street after receiving a tip that a business was involved in criminal activity.
Investigators soon found evidence that the “females operating the massage parlor would agree to perform lewd acts for money while performing their duties as masseuses,” APD said.
During the search, two women were arrested and ultimately booked into the Madison County Jail. The suspects, a 56-year-old from Crawfordsville and a 45-year-old from Anderson, now face one count of prostitution each.
APD said that the investigation into prostitution at the massage parlor is ongoing and no other information was provided.
