LOGANSPORT, Ind. — Indiana State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old boy from Logansport who may be the victim of abuse. The boy hasn’t been seen since June 16 and his parents have also fallen off the map, authorities said.
According to state police, Bryson Muir was last seen leaving a family member’s home with his mother, Kristen Muir, in a white 2015 Chevrolet Suburban on June 16.
Not long after leaving the Ohio home, Ohio police officers reportedly pulled over the Suburban. Kristen Muir was in the vehicle, but Bryson was nowhere to be found.
Two days later, the Cass County Department of Child Services asked Indiana State Police investigators to look into allegations of domestic battery inflicted upon the 14-year-old in his Logansport home. But the boy wasn’t found at his home.
Police said the Muir family’s home, located in the 1700 block of US 24 in Logansport, is owned by the Servant Leader’s Foundation, a nonprofit religious group. The Chevy Suburban driven by Kristen Muir is also owned by the Servant Leader’s Foundation.
State police, Cass County Sheriff’s Department deputies and DCS have been unable to locate Bryson Muir. Additionally concerning, police said efforts to reach Bryson’s parents, Daniel and Kristen Muir, have also been unsuccessful.
The police agency is urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of Bryson Muir or his parents to contact state police Peru post at (800) 382-0689 or call 911.
