Motorcyclist injured in hit-and-run crash on south side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS — A motorcyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash on the south side of Indianapolis Saturday night.
Public emergency reporting systems indicate Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the intersection of South Harding Street and West Murray Street around 9:28 p.m. on a report of a crash.
Law enforcement at the scene indicated the crash involved a female driving a motorcycle and a van. The female was transported from the scene to Eskenazi Hospital because she sustained a leg injury. Police reported that the woman’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
The crash was a hit-and-run, per IMPD. Police at the scene told FOX59 and CBS4 that they took a suspect into custody during their investigation of the crash.
