Crash forces police to close I-69 ramp on northeast side of Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS — A ramp off of Interstate 69 southbound was temporarily closed Tuesday night.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation’s traffic map, the ramp is located near mile marker 200 of I-69 southbound. INDOT characterized the crash as being on I-69 at Interstate 465.
Public police reporting systems indicate medics were first called to the area for a crash around 10:18 p.m. It is still unclear how the crash started or exactly how many injuries, if any, it may have caused.
Officials have not yet provided a timeline for the ramp’s reopening.
