HCSO: 1 dead in single-vehicle crash
HAMILTON COUNTY, Ind. — A person is dead after a crash in Hamilton County shut down northbound traffic for several hours on Thursday.
According to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, officers were called shortly before 5 p.m. to the 22200 block of U.S. 31 northbound on the report of a crash. The Westfield Police Department also stated that this was just north of 216th Street.
Upon arrival, the HCSO said they determined this crash to be fatal, killing a single occupant in one vehicle. This caused northbound traffic to close, with WPD advising drivers to seek alternate routes.
The descendant’s name was not provided, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
