MUNCIE, Ind. — Police have launched a homicide investigation in Muncie after a man was found with traumatic injuries early Thursday morning.
Officers with the Muncie Police Department responded around 12:48 a.m. to the 1900 block of E. Cornell Avenue in response to reports that a man was down in the roadway. Officers arrived and located an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene.
MPD said the male had suffered a “traumatic” injury but did not provide any specifics on the type of injury the man had sustained. The deceased individual has been identified as 42-year-old Ronald David Wright Jr.
Police are investigating this incident as a homicide and urged anyone with information to contact (765) 747-4867.
