IMPD: Shots fired at McDonald’s near Castleton Mall
INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after shots were fired at a McDonald’s located across the street from Castleton Square Mall early Saturday morning.
According to a police report, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called around 4:23 a.m. to a McDonald’s in the 6000 block of East 82nd Street on a report of shots fired.
While police did not report the name of a suspect, they noted that eight .22 caliber shell casings were found at the scene. IMPD indicated that investigators then collected evidence found at the scene and completed a report.
It is unclear whether anyone was injured in the shooting. IMPD is still investigating the shooting.
