ANGOLA, Ind. (WANE) – A 21-year-old from Angola was arrested after investigators discovered he was behind an online account used to store and share child pornography.
Indiana State Police said in a release Caleb Perry is charged with five felony counts of possession of child pornography.
In October 2023, ISP’s Crimes Against Children Task Force opened the investigation after getting a tip about the online account from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Once a search warrant was granted, ISP officers and Angola Police searched Perry’s house on March 28 and took multiple electronic devices, according to the release.
Police determined Perry was the owner of the account, and he was then booked into the Steuben County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
