GREENWOOD, Ind. — Greenwood police are investigating a fatal crash Friday night that has shut down all northbound and southbound lanes of U.S. 31.
The Greenwood Fire Department confirmed shortly before 11 p.m. that first responders are on the scene of a crash that killed at least one person at U.S. 31 and Main Street. The crash has caused congestion in the area, with all traffic in the northbound and southbound lanes coming to a halt.
GFD has not yet confirmed how many vehicles were involved in the crash or if any other injuries were reported.
No other information was immediately available.
