The Covenant Health Foundation is kicking off a two-week community-wide fundraising campaign, Champions for Children, on April 15 to support Covenant Children’s and its outstanding care for children.
As the only licensed children’s hospital in West Texas, and one of only 8 in Texas, countless children and families have been impacted by the life-saving care provided to Covenant Children’s.
With more than 70 participating locations, this campaign will be an opportunity for communities in the South Plains to support this vital ongoing work. Guests of participating businesses can donate $1 (or more!) at checkout to support Covenant Children’s. If available, the guest can also write their name on a kite that will be displayed at the company. All proceeds raised during the two-week campaign will support Covenant Children’s children.

Amy Thompson, CEO of Covenant Children’s said: “The work we do every day – caring for children with cancer, vulnerable patients in the NICU, people struggling with health behavioral problems – is a blessing to all of us who Calling Children’s Home.” Thompson said, “Covenant Children’s dedicated carers are here to care for children alone – they work in a hospital built on love and faith.”
