Docs: Madison County man charged with possessing 592 child porn files, child exploitation

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. — A man faces five total charges related to 592 files containing child pornography, according to court documents.

Per the documents, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information on Feb. 3 regarding a user on the online platform Discord. Following an investigation, the account was tied to 23-year-old Austin Michael Fuller of Pendleton, Ind.

The NCMEC also received similar cyber tips coming from X (formerly Twitter) regarding “potential child exploitative material involving [Fuller’s] account,” court documents indicate.

Police then investigated the files that were reported. They reportedly found hundreds of images depicting both child pornography and anime child porn. Further investigations showed Discord chat logs, in which Fuller sent and asked for “…child on child stuff.”

Court documents add that Fuller was a suspect in a similar case dating back to July 9, 2020. Here, the documents said Fuller was in college at the time, and despite attempts to surveil his residence, he could not be located.

However, police reportedly served a search warrant on Fuller’s person and residence on Sept. 17, 2024, and conducted a traffic stop where police seized his phone.

According to court documents, after Fuller was read his rights, the following came out of his interview:

  • Fuller used X/Twitter, Telegram and Discord and had “a lot of regular pornography within his device,” claiming he had “a slight porn addiction.”
  • When asked about questionable age material, Fuller said he “[tried] to scrub it away.”
  • Fuller allegedly claimed he has “been involved in Taboo” but would never do anything to a child. He also stated that — while he would never carry it out — he had a sexual fantasy chat with a child.
  • Police said this included a chat in which Fuller wrote “god I need to rape kids” and “so badly I’m tempted to actually do it.” Fuller further defended that this was “fantasy again.”
  • While most of the files found under Fuller’s accounts were animated, some of it was not.

Court documents allege that police documented 592 files of CGI or animated child abuse material, though they noted that the number of files is not representative of the full number of images found on Fuller’s device. They estimated that number to be “in excess of 1000s of files.”

Of those 592 files, 158 were videos consisting of over two hours and 10 minutes of animated child abuse material, the documents said.

Now, Fuller faces the following charges, according to online court records:

  • Four counts of child exploitation with an aggravating factor (Level 4 Felony)
  • One count of possession of child pornography with an aggravating factor (Level 5 Felony)
