Four people injured in shooting on Indy’s near northside

INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating after four people were injured in a shooting early Tuesday morning.

According to IMPD, around 1:15 a.m. officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 3100 block of Capitol Avenue.

When officers arrived they located an adult female with a gunshot wound. As officers were treating her wound a male walked up that also had a gunshot wound.

Both victims were taken to Eskenazi in stable condition.

At 3:25 a.m. IMPD gave an update that two more victims were found with gunshot wounds and are in stable condition.

Police say that at this time they do not have any suspect information or motive for the shooting.
