INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department found three people with gunshot wounds at Community East Hospital on Friday afternoon.
According to an IMPD media notification, officers were dispatched to 1500 N. Ritter Ave. on a report of a person shot. When police arrived at the scene, they located three victims “with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.”
IMPD has reported that two of the victims are currently in stable condition. Police have indicated that a third victim is in critical condition.
Law enforcement believes the victims may have been injured in a shooting in 8500 block of Lenna Court, which is located near 42nd Street and Post Road on the city’s northeast side.
