IMPD: Man arrested, two counts of attempted murder on east side

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man on Sunday on two counts of attempted murder.

According to IMPD, officers were originally called to the 6100 block of E 21st Street on the report of a person shot. On scene, they located two victims with injuries related to gunshot wounds. Both were reported as awake and breathing.

On Sunday, IMPD aggravated assault detectives continued their investigation. This led to the arrest of 21-year-old Jerimiah Eldridge, due to his alleged involvement in the shooting.
