IMPD: Man shot at Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a man was shot at a southeast side gurdwara — a Sikh place of worship — Sunday afternoon.

According to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department, officers were called around 12:44 p.m. to the Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis, located on the 10000 block of Southeastern Avenue.

Upon arrival, police said they located an adult male victim with at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
