“This is a rough evening for Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and our community,” said IMPD Captain Shane Foley. “We have an officer who was shot earlier tonight and is currently being treated for those injuries. We are hopeful that he makes a full recovery and our thoughts are with his family and the medical personnel who are providing him with medical attention.”
