INDIANAPOLIS – Police are investigating after a person was critically injured injured in a shooting on Indy’s east side Friday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at around 11:52 p.m., officers were called to the 9200 block of Celtic Court.
When officers arrived, they located a person with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. They were transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
Police say they have a person of interest detained in connection to the incident.
No other information was available.
