Man in critical after shooting on Indy’s near northeast side
INDIANAPOLIS – Indianapolis Metro Police Department is investigating after a man was critically wounded in a shooting early Thursday morning.
According to IMPD, just before 2:45 a.m. Officers responded to the 2900 block of North Olney street on a report of a person shot.
Officers arrived at a residence where they located an adult man with multiple gunshot wounds and he was taken to Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Officers say that the shooting took place inside the residence and believed that the suspect was inside a nearby home.
IMPD obtained a warrant to search the home and did not find the suspect inside.
