Person critical after crash on Indy’s west side

INDIANAPOLIS — A person was critically injured in a crash on the west side of Indianapolis Saturday night.

Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched around 7:11 p.m. to the intersection of W. Washington Street and Hamblen W. Drive in response to reports of a possible fatal crash with entrapment in the area.

IMPD confirmed to FOX59/CBS4 crews on the scene that one person was transported to an area hospital in critical condition after the two-vehicle crash. Police have not shared if any other individuals were injured.
