Restaurant on southeast side of Indy closes after car crashes into it
INDIANAPOLIS — A car crashed into a restaurant on the southeast side of Indianapolis causing it to close due to structure damage.
According to Wheatleys Restaurant social post, on Saturday, Feb. 3, a vehicle hit the establishment and caused significant damage to the structural integrity of the building.
In a statement the company said:
“While we are fortunate that no one was injured we will need to be closed while the damage is assessed and a plan to move forward is created and implemented. We do not know how long the closure will last but we will let everyone know as soon as we have additional information. Thank you in advance for your patience and hopefully we will be back open very soon.“
