SCOTT COUNTY, Ind. – A deadly crash and vehicle fire led state police to close part of I-65 in Scott County.
According to Indiana State Police, the three-vehicle crash happened on I-65 south near mile marker 33, not far from Austin.
Traffic was being diverted off at exit 34 onto U.S. 31 southbound, ISP said.
The Indiana Department of Transportation’s traffic map indicated a vehicle fire was blocking all lanes.
Drivers should avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
