INDIANAPOLIS — With Halloween just around the corner, a new survey shows that Hoosiers will be filling their candy buckets with a “taste of the rainbow”.
In a survey that took place from Oct. 1 to Oct. 15, the website Holiday Calendar determined each state’s favorite Halloween candies for 2024. It found that Indiana’s favorite spooky sweet is none other than Skittles.
Per the results, the favorites are as follows, in order of popularity:
- Skittles
- Snickers
- Starburst
- Sour Patch Kids
- Kit Kat
This matches some national results as well. The survey said that Americans’ overall favorite candy for 2024 is Skittles (a favorite in 22 states), while Snickers rounds out second place (the favorite in nine states).
